Santo Domingo, 30 mar – Un sistema frontal ha estado provocando lluvias este lunes en gran parte de la República Dominicana.
Además, el viento acelerado del noreste ha provocado rachas de viento y temperaturas frescas y agradables, informó el Instituto Dominicano de Meteorología (Indomet).
Desde primeras horas de la mañana se producen lluvias débiles y moderadas y ráfagas en provincias del litoral atlántico, como: Montecristi, Puerto Plata, María Trinidad Sánchez y La Altagracia, entre otras.
Por la tarde, ha habido, un aumento de las precipitaciones con tormentas eléctricas y ráfagas en: Santo Domingo, Monte Plata, Monseñor Nouel, San José de Ocoa, La Vega, Azua, Santiago, San Juan y en las provincias mencionadas anteriormente.
En cuanto a las condiciones marítimas, Indomet recomendó a los operadores de frágiles, pequeñas y medianas embarcaciones, en la costa atlántica, permanecer en puerto debido a viento y olas anormales.
En la costa caribeña, aconsejó navegar con precaución cerca del perímetro costero desde cabo Beata (Pedernales) hasta Paraíso (Barahona). EFE
