El Gobierno ruso ha autorizado la venta de combustible Euro-2, muy por debajo de los estándares de calidad habituales de Euro-5, informaron este martes las autoridades en medio de una crisis por falta de gasolina a causa de los ataques ucranianos contra la infraestructura petrolera rusa.
"Se aprobó una resolución gubernamental sobre la posibilidad de vender y comercializar combustible Euro-2, Euro-3 y Euro-4 en el mercado interno", anunció el vice primer ministro ruso, Alexandr Nóvak, citado por la agencia de noticias TASS.
Según el funcionario, el Gobierno ya tomó la decisión la semana pasada para abastecer el mercado interno, que sufre un gran déficit desde finales de mayo.
Estrategia ante la escasez afecta vehículos
Las autoridades rusas esperan de este modo "paliar la escasez en determinadas regiones" del país.
En junio, el Gobierno ruso ya prorrogó el permiso a las refinerías nacionales para comercializar combustible Euro-3, gasolina con un contenido de azufre de hasta 150 miligramos por kilogramo, 15 veces por encima de la norma Euro-5.
- Los expertos avisan que los requisitos de menor calidad para la producción de combustible pueden suponer un riesgo para los propietarios de automóviles con modernos sistemas de control de emisiones y electrónica sofisticada, ya que al quemarse este combustible produce compuestos corrosivos que pueden acelerar gravemente el desgaste de la maquinaria.
- Al mismo tiempo, empeora la calidad de las emisiones de los coches que utilizan estos productos. Y es que dichas medidas fueron prohibidas en 2016 con el objetivo de cumplir las normativas europeas de emisiones de óxidos de nitrógeno, en este caso.
Algunos medios alertan de que la maquinaria agrícola es especialmente susceptible a dichos combustibles de peor calidad.
Mientras tanto, Ucrania continúa golpeando refinerías y depósitos de petróleo a lo largo de toda Rusia.
