Dajabón. – La Alcaldía Municipal de Dajabón, en coordinación con el Concejo de Regidores, puso en marcha la tarde de este martes la segunda etapa de construcción de contenes en el sector Bella Vista, dando continuidad a una obra prioritaria para la comunidad.
El acto simbólico del "primer picazo" estuvo encabezado por el alcalde Santiago Riveron, quien estuvo acompañado de varios ediles de la Sala Capitular. Durante la actividad, el funcionario municipal destacó que la primera fase de esta infraestructura registra un avance superior al 50 %, y anunció que los trabajos de construcción se extenderán de igual modo a las comunidades La Aviación y Demetrio Senfleur.
Los moradores del sector Bella Vista expresaron su agradecimiento al alcalde y a los regidores por la reanudación de los trabajos. Aprovecharon la ocasión para hacer un llamado al ministro de Obras Públicas, a fin de que estos sectores sean incluidos en el operativo de asfaltado que, según anuncios oficiales, se ejecutará próximamente en todo el municipio.
De su lado, los regidores presentes valoraron la disposición del presidente Luis Abinader y la gestión del ejecutivo municipal para hacer posible la culminación de estas obras de vital importancia. No obstante, pidieron que los trabajos sean ejecutados con estrictos estándares de calidad, a fin de garantizar su durabilidad y resistencia ante futuras inclemencias climáticas.
Con el avance de esta segunda etapa que según las autoridades serán más de mil metros lineales, el ayuntamiento busca mitigar los riesgos de inundaciones y reforzar la seguridad de las viviendas en el sector Bella Vista, reafirmando el compromiso asumido con los residentes de la zona.
